About Three Sisters Land & Cattle Company

Three Sisters Ranch is a beautiful working ranch since 1888, nestled high in the Dragoon Mountains and home of the great chief Cochise. Lying between the San Pedro River and Cochise Stronghold the 7,500-foot peaks of the Dragoon Mountains. A unique piece of the American West and relatively unknown by native Arizonans. The topography is gently rolling hills melting into the foothills of the Dragoon Mountains and extraordinarily beautiful as well as private. Three Sisters Ranch holds the mystery of the Buffalo Soldiers as they attempt to capture Cochise as well as breath taking views of the valley below and the dynamic peaks at our back door. The Dragoons face other mountain ranges such as the Whetstones, the Huachuca’s as well as providing vistas of Mexico to the South.

Three Sisters Ranch headquarters lies at an elevation of 5,500’ with a backdrop of abrupt 7500’ peaks of the Dragoon Mountains. At this altitude in southern Arizona we are blessed with four mild seasons and sun abounds.

The diversity of botanical varieties include a carpet of knee high Love grasses, Gramma and Side Oats blanketed by Oaks, Mesquite, Sycamore, Walnut, Cottonwood, Juniper, Yucca and a variety of Cactus. Flowers are abundant everywhere during the spring and summer. It is cattle, cowboys and ranching families that have kept this pristine scenery preserved for centuries. We are proud of our rare piece of American history, a totally economical unit and sustainable environment that provides a full eco-system for a myriad of species.

Three Sisters Ranch is surrounded by National Forest and State Trust lands providing unrestricted views and a tranquil environment. Most important you are secluded from the noise and pollution of city living but close enough if you feel the need to experience the other side. Of note Three Sisters Ranch is one of the few remaining ranches in the Dragoons.
